At their meeting on 26 October EU Fisheries Ministers set Baltic TACs and quotas for 2011. But they failed to agree on a coordinated EU approach for the meeting of the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT) in November. A number of Member States disagreed with the Commission proposal to reduce the quota significantly. Discussions will continue between Member States in Council Working Groups.
