A Fisher’s Journey

by Corinne McAfee, Fri, Jul 30, 2010

“Ignorance is more expensive than knowledge, especially if you allow ignorance to prevail.”
- Dalston Samuels, fisher, Antigua and Barbuda.

in collaboration with scientists, government officials
and others – have made remarkable progress in reviving
their fisheries and conserving their way of life.

See the results of these conservation efforts through the eyes of Dalston Samuels, a fisher from Antigua and Barbuda, as he travels to Belize and Mexico on a fisher’s exchange.
