“Ocean Illiteracy”

New term heard in a corridor in Brussels, describing the problem with finding interest and acceptance among the general public to the tough CFP decisions that need to be made in order to save our seas.

“Ocean Literacy” is on the other hand a US designed education project nominated a few years ago to attempt to describe what people need to know about the sea, in particular teachers and students.
